Zen Meditation Centre Establishment
According to research, 10-30% people in this world are suffering from depression and mental problem. Many incidents of suicide, work pressure and restlessness are not new to us. The youths have been undergoing the wrong paths, and the peace and prosperity of the world are simply at stake.
Meditation is one of the best tools to counter the brain’s negativity bias, release accumulated stress, foster positive experiences and intentions, and enjoy the peace of present moment awareness. The main purpose of it is to relieve stress and know inner self. It helps to purify the mind and emits distress thereby enhancing the productivity of people.
A large body of research has established that having a regular meditation practice produces tangible benefits for mental and physical health. Viewing all these facts and assimilating the Buddha’s Path, WBRA has planned to make a Community Hall that includes the accommodation and food services at our project site where 500 people can take the joy of meditation at once. The centre will significantly contribute to strengthening the inner peace and mindfulness of individuals. The project location is the best location for this activity and it will be an exemplary Meditation centre in Nepal.
Key achievement:
The organisation has already set up plan, place and people to establish the Meditation Centre. A six-member team led by Monk Bhim Suwa Gurung, President, for the specific study of Zen Meditation has already been formed and now gathering information. The team has also planned to visit Korean Zen Centre as the matter of practical examples. The meditation centre begins in November 2018.
